SUMMARY:Greater Boston Area Continuum - 2025 Dives
DESCRIPTION:“The challenges that we face in our lives require us to show up as our best selves\, guided by the heart-based wisdom of divine truth. In this truth\, we will find the answers that have eluded us\, and we will find our way back to one another and back to a place of harmony with the world around us.”\n~ Sherri Mitchell in Sacred Instructions: Indigenous Wisdom for Living Spirit-Based Change \n3 Dives ~ 1:00-4:00 pm\nNovember 2 • November 30 • December 28\, 2025\n@ The Arlington Center\, 369 Massachusetts Avenue Arlington\, MA\nJoin Somanaut\, Megan Bathory-Peeler\, as she guides curious explorers into the deeper waters of Continuum and wisdom of Mystery School teachings where these monthly gatherings become rituals of belonging that honor the cycles of nature and our interdependence to all life on this Earth. \nThese are monthly in-person gatherings designed for Continuum movers in the Greater Boston Area with established practices and a desire to commit to co-creating a group container that promotes more intimate sharing and deeper explorations. Through a consistent practice of Continuum\, we can retrieve a perception of wholeness and reclaim a sense of biological optimism that is our birthright. \nThe theme for 2025 is accessing different ways to feel support and live with uncertainty in times of accelerated change. We all need to lean more into care for one another\, co-create spaces of support\, form islands of sanity\, and bolster our own internal strength that comes from vulnerability. \nPlease contact Megan directly if you are interested in attending these monthly gatherings. In-person participation is preferred and these dives will be offered in a hybrid format via Zoom to support commitment and continuity in attendance. \nGreater Boston Area Continuum 2025 Dives \nJoin Zoom Meeting \nhttps://us02web.zoom.us/j/85787471915 \nMeeting ID: 857 8747 1915 \nSuggested Sliding Scale: $50-$100/dive \nFor each dive\, there is a suggested tuition. SUMMARY:Embracing the Dark
DESCRIPTION:Embracing the Dark \nTuesday Evenings • October 21 – December 16 • 6:00-8:00 pm ET • @ Community Yoga & Wellness Studio • 16 Federal Street Greenfield\, MA • $25/class • $180 with commitment to all 9 weeks \nJourney within to ignite your inner fire! \nAutumn is here. As Nature gathers in the sun’s life force to store for the cold months ahead\, we can either resist the coming darkness or we can journey within to illuminate and empower who we truly are. The amount of work is the same. \nThe shortening days and the lengthening nights invite us to go within and explore the liminal places between day and night\, brightness and shadow\, fear and acceptance. The self-awakening practice of Continuum reminds us to slow down\, rest with what is happening in this moment\, and reconnect to what is alive in each of us. It’s the perfect time to embrace the contracting forces of our own resistance to meet the unknown with power and creativity. \nThis can be a challenging time of year for many people. Many people feel tired\, drained\, and depressed. Give yourself the gift of rest\, reflection\, acceptance\, and inspiration to replenish your life force reserves. The life force we are born with is what ignites the fires within that blaze\, glow\, or dampen depending on what happens in our lives and how we respond to it. \nThe longer format classes of Continuum devote time and space to exploring what it means to be in a human body-mind. Guided by breath\, vocalized sounds\, imagery\, and simple biological movement impulses\, we recover awareness and restore sensations in the body that are flattened by the speed of modern life and lost in the cultural quicksand of fear\, sorrow\, and pain. \nMake the commitment to yourself this fall. Think of this series of 9 classes as a weekly personal retreat or spiritual bathing. Anything that carries devotion can become a soulful ritual. The secret is\, as poet Mary Oliver shares\, “to keep the appointment” with ourselves. Generating more empathy and compassion for ourselves\, may make it easier to perceive the same in others and let our inner light shine out into the places of shadow and darkness around the globe. \nEvery Body is welcome! Appropriate for teens and adults of all abilities. No previous experience is required. Bring your curiosity\, an open mind\, and you’ll have everything you need. \nPlease wear comfortable layers of clothing you feel like moving in; bring a notebook and a water bottle to each class. \nTo register\, email: megan@somanautiko.com or call: 413.772.0078 \nCost: $25/class • $180 with commitment to all 9 weeks \nPayments can be made via:\n1) Cash or Check\n2) Venmo @meganbathory-peeler \nIf you have any questions or need more information\, contact Megan: 413.772.0078

SUMMARY:Liquid Resilience
DESCRIPTION:Open the door this year to the body’s inherent wisdom through the moving mindfulness practice of Continuum. These weekly explorations will creatively awaken the physiology of the body with active\, fluid body workouts in balance with restorative\, expansive explorations asking: What is support? What is strength? What is resilience? \nAs the world around us continues to be in constant flux\, reclaiming our own truth\, trusting our own inner wisdom and honing our listening skills has never been more important. What would our lives be like if joy and pleasure are what motivated us? What if we embraced all movement as the medicine that brings us health and vitality? What would it be like to experience stillness from deep inner and outer acceptance instead of being immobilized by fear\, anxiety and overwhelm? \nContinuum reminds us how to slow down\, quiet our minds and open our hearts. We attune to the subtle movement responses of our body’s tissues and fluid systems. As we slow down to the speed of water\, our tissues hydrate themselves\, becoming less dense (more spacious). This helps us relocate ourselves in our bodies\, separate from the sensory overload of modern culture\, and drop into our place in the interconnected web of life. This is all about restoring our relationships with all that is. \nThese weekly offerings will be guided by Megan Bathory-Peeler\, an expert somanaut – a true explorer of the body. Think of carving out this 1.5-hour block of time as a personal weekly retreat or spiritual bath. Isn’t it time to give your Self the gift of bathing in a pool of rest\, reflection\, acceptance\, compassion\, discovery\, and inspiration? \nLIQUID RESILIENCE: CONTINUUM MOVING MEDITATIONS\n\nJOIN US ANYTIME! Classes started January 3\, 2025 and will continue ongoing throughout the year… check calendar regularly for exceptions. \nFIND COMMUNITY SUPPORT AND INSPIRATION ON FRIDAYS via Zoom\n8:30-10:30 am ET/2:30-4:30 CET\n\n  \nUSE THIS ZOOM LINK EVERY WEEK:\n\nJoin Zoom Meeting – Liquid Reslience\nhttps://us02web.zoom.us/j/87926524930\nMeeting ID: 879 2652 4930\n\n  \n\nHOW DO I REGISTER? ASK A QUESTION?\nContact Megan! \nemail: megan@somanautiko.com \nphone/text: 413-772-0078 \nSuggested tuition: $25 for each 2 hour class \nWhat if my resources are limited? Please do not let personal circumstances prevent you from attending. Pay From the Heart ~ offer the amount your heart allows. \nPayments can be made via: \n\nchecks mailed to Megan: Somanautiko • 16 Federal Street Suite 1 • Greenfield\, MA 01301\nONLINE (within U.S.)- Click Here: Venmo (@meganbathory-peeler)\nONLINE (Overseas) –  PayPal.me/Somanautiko\n\n\nNEW TO CONTINUUM? DROPPING IN?\nEMAIL: megan@somanautiko.com to reserve your space in the virtual studio *AT LEAST 2 HOURS BEFORE* start of class.\n\n\nTrue Beginners welcome. In fact\, a Beginner’s Mind strongly encouraged for all.\nI strongly urge you to softly allow the flow of your day to allow you to arrive with enough time to set up and be settling in at 8:30 am ET/2:30 pm CET\nPrepare a clean and cleared floor space with a blanket\, any cushions\, a chair and anything else you need to be comfortable and fully present.\nHydration is essential. Everyone is encouraged to drink 2 cups of water before the start of class. Have a full water bottle nearby.\nBring a notebook to write in every week.\nWe will often use balls in class. Having a tennis ball and a 9 inch soft ball is strongly encouraged. Here’s a link to the ball that I like best. There are many versions of these on the market and any will work. 9″ BALL\nBring your curiosity and an open mind\, and you’ll have everything you need!\n\n\nWhat is Continuum Somanautiko? Continuum is a practice that cultivates dynamic awareness throughout the body. Beginning with simple breaths and vocalized sounds\, these vibrations invoke subtle and spontaneous movements within the body. As these intrinsic movements emerge\, they spark creative sensory imagery and increase fluid responsiveness in our embodied minds. Within the first few breaths\, we recover and restore sensation and awareness that has been flattened and lost by the speed of modern life. This immediately increases our vitality\, adaptability\, and immunity — making us more resilient. \nSlowing down to the speed of water\, our tissues hydrate themselves\, becoming less dense and more spacious. Continuum helps us relocate ourselves\, separate from the sensory overload of technology-driven culture\, and drop into our place in the interconnected web of life on earth. It then becomes possible to explore the edges between the known and the unknown in Continuum’s essential inquiry — what is a body? \nContinuum develops the non-judgmental witness\, allowing to us to be fully present to our own process\, without expectations of outcome. This enhances our ability to rest into what is\, to be in the Here and Now. By reconnecting to what is most alive in each of us with more empathy and compassion for ourselves\, it becomes easier to perceive the same in others and offer these gifts out to human and non-human beings around us. Continuum is a practice that deepens our trust in our own inherent wisdom and the interdependence of all things —skills and awareness that are critically needed in this time of ongoing pandemic recovery and climate-driven adaptability.
