SUMMARY:Greater Boston Area Continuum - 2026 Dives
DESCRIPTION:“The challenges that we face in our lives require us to show up as our best selves\, guided by the heart-based wisdom of divine truth. In this truth\, we will find the answers that have eluded us\, and we will find our way back to one another and back to a place of harmony with the world around us.”\n~ Sherri Mitchell in Sacred Instructions: Indigenous Wisdom for Living Spirit-Based Change \nGreater Boston Area Dives ~ 1:00-4:00 pm @ The Arlington Center\, 369 Massachusetts Avenue Arlington\, MA\nJoin Somanaut\, Megan Bathory-Peeler\, as she guides curious explorers into the deeper waters of Continuum and wisdom of Mystery School teachings where these monthly gatherings become rituals of belonging that honor the cycles of nature and our interdependence to all life on this Earth. \nThese are monthly in-person gatherings designed for Continuum movers in the Greater Boston Area with established practices and a desire to commit to co-creating a group container that promotes more intimate sharing and deeper explorations. Through a consistent practice of Continuum\, we can retrieve a perception of wholeness and reclaim a sense of biological optimism that is our birthright. \nIn 2026 we will continue to access different ways of sensing support and living with uncertainty during times of unprecedented and accelerated change. The strength and power we can reclaim when we turn towards our vulnerabilities\, stroke our soft places\, lean more into care for one another\, co-create spaces of support\, form islands of sanity\, and bolster our own internal resources is limitless! \nPlease contact Megan directly if you are interested in attending these monthly gatherings. In-person participation is preferred and these dives will be offered in a hybrid format via Zoom to support commitment and continuity in attendance. \nGreater Boston Area Continuum 2026 Dives \nJanuary 18 • February 8 • March 1 • April 12 • May 3 • June 14 • July 12 • August 30 • September 20 • October 25 • November 22 • December 13 \nText or Email Megan to register and receive Zoom Meeting LINK \nSuggested Sliding Scale: $50-$100/dive \nFor each dive\, there is a suggested tuition. SUMMARY:Introduction to Continuum at The Arlington Center
DESCRIPTION:“Play is a biological state that arises when we are freely engaged\, curious\, and absorbed in an activity for its own sake. It is defined not by what we are doing\, but by how and why we’re doing it. When we are playing\, the experience itself becomes the reward — attention deepens\, effort feels enlivening\, and time may seem to recede.”\n– National Institute for Play \nGreater Boston Area Continuum ~ Sunday\, September 20 • Introductory Class 12:30-2:00 pm or stay for Extended Class 2:00-4:00 pm @ The Arlington Center\, 369 Massachusetts Avenue Arlington\, MA\nWhat is Continuum? Continuum is at its core a deep listening practice that cultivates dynamic awareness and curiosity throughout the body. This is deep play. Beginning with simple breaths and vocalized sounds\, these vibrations invoke subtle and spontaneous movements within the body. As these intrinsic movements emerge\, they spark creative sensory imagery and increase fluid responsiveness in our embodied minds. Within the first few breaths\, we recover and restore sensation and awareness that has been flattened and lost by the speed of modern life. \nContinuum has been shown to be beneficial for pain\, chronic injury and other physical limitations\, including all forms of paralysis – physical\, mental and emotional. It promotes deep relaxation\, well-being and a sense of connectedness. This immediately increases our vitality\, adaptability\, and immunity\, making us more resilient. \nSlowing down to the speed of water\, our tissues hydrate themselves\, becoming less dense and more spacious. Continuum helps us relocate ourselves\, separate from the sensory overload of technology-driven culture\, and drop into our place in the interconnected web of life on earth. It then becomes possible to explore the edges between the known and the unknown in Continuum’s essential inquiry — what is a body? Rather than viewing the body as an object\, we explore the body as a living process. \nContinuum develops the non-judgmental witness\, allowing to us to be fully present to our own body’s intelligence without expectations of outcome. This enhances our ability to rest into what is\, to be in the Here and Now. By reconnecting to what is most alive in each of us with more empathy and compassion for ourselves\, it becomes easier to perceive the same in others and offer these gifts out to human and non-human beings around us. \nThis practice is employed by artists to dissolve creative blocks and support creativity and improvisation. It has influenced the fields of dance\, bodywork\, movement therapy\, performance\, psychotherapy and more because it deepens our trust in our own inherent wisdom and the interdependence of all things —skills and awareness that are critically needed in this time of ongoing pandemic recovery and climate-driven adaptability. \nCome play with us! \n_______________________________________________________ \nPLEASE REGISTER NOW TO DISCOVER THE JOYS OF CONTINUUM: \nemail Megan: megan@somanautiko.com \nphone/text/WhatsApp: 413-772-0078 \nCost: $25 for introductory class 12:30-2:00 pm; $50 if staying for extended class time 2:00-4:00 pm \nWhat if my resources are limited? Please do not let personal circumstances prevent you from attending. Those who can offer more will help those who can offer less. Please contact Megan to arrange a rate that is affordable for you. \nPayments can be made weekly or monthly via: \n\nCHECK or CASH – Easy! In this truth\, we will find the answers that have eluded us\, and we will find our way back to one another and back to a place of harmony with the world around us.”\n~ Sherri Mitchell in Sacred Instructions: Indigenous Wisdom for Living Spirit-Based Change \n3 Dives ~ 1:00-4:00 pm\nNovember 2 • November 30 • December 28\, 2025\n@ The Arlington Center\, 369 Massachusetts Avenue Arlington\, MA\nJoin Somanaut\, Megan Bathory-Peeler\, as she guides curious explorers into the deeper waters of Continuum and wisdom of Mystery School teachings where these monthly gatherings become rituals of belonging that honor the cycles of nature and our interdependence to all life on this Earth. \nThese are monthly in-person gatherings designed for Continuum movers in the Greater Boston Area with established practices and a desire to commit to co-creating a group container that promotes more intimate sharing and deeper explorations. We all need to lean more into care for one another\, co-create spaces of support\, form islands of sanity\, and bolster our own internal strength that comes from vulnerability. \nPlease contact Megan directly if you are interested in attending these monthly gatherings.
